View Initiator Information

View Initiator Information

This operation enables you to view information about initiators.

Procedure

  1. Choose Provisioning > Host > Initiator.
  2. In the function pane, view information about initiators.

    Table 5-20 describes relevant parameters.

    Initiator type. The value can be iSCSI, FC, or IB.

    Alias of the initiator.

    WWPN/IQN

    • WWPN: The unique identifier of the FC or IB initiator.
    • IQN: iSCSI Qualified Name (IQN) of the iSCSI initiator.
    NOTE:

    The IQN of the virtual initiator added on the storage system must be consistent with the IQN of the initiator on the application server. The IQN of each initiator must be unique.

    Status (online or offline) of the initiator.

    Associated Host

    Whether the initiator has been associated with a host.
