This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

Function

This show file export_path command is used to export system data to a directory in the storage system and show the directory to users.

Format

show file export_path file_type=? [ controller_id=? ] [ disk_id=? ]

File type.

The value can "event", "log", "running_data", "configuration_data", "all_log", "smart", "workload", "call_home", "diagnostic_file", "isolated_disklog", "running_disklog", "cloudbackup_log", "all_cloudbackup_log", or "capacity_file", where:

  • "event": indicates event files.
  • "log": indicates recent log files.
  • "running_data": indicates system running data files.
  • "configuration_data": indicates system configuration files.
  • "all_log": indicates all logs of the system.
  • "smart": indicates disk SMART info.
  • "workload": indicates workload.
  • "call_home": indicates Call Home data.
  • "diagnostic_file": indicates the diagnostic file.
  • "isolated_disklog": indicates isolated disk log info.
  • "running_disklog": indicates running disk log info.
  • "cloudbackup_log": indicates recent cloudbackup log info.
  • "all_cloudbackup_log": indicates all cloudbackup log info.
  • "capacity_file": indicates the historical capacity information file.

controller_id=?

Controller ID.

Controller IDs are separated by commas (,), the value is in the format of "XA","XB","XC","XD", where the "X" is an integer from 0 to 3, for example: "0A","1C". This parameter can be specified only when "file_type" is set to "log", "all_log", "call_home", "smart", "isolated_disklog", "cloudbackup_log", or "all_cloudbackup_log".

disk_id

Disk ID.

To obtain the value, run "show disk general" without parameters. This parameter can be specified only when "file_type" is set to "running_disklog".

Usage Guidelines

  • This "show file export_path" command is used to export system data to a directory in the storage system and show the directory to users.
  • This "show file export_path file_type=? [ controller_id=? ] [ disk_id=? ]" command is used to export system data of a specific controller to a directory in the storage system and show the directory to users except for the log, all log, Call Home data, disk SMART information, workload, diagnostic file, isolated_disklog, running_disklog, cloudbackup_log, all_cloudbackup_log, and capacity_file.
  • This command is used by information-gathering tools to gather system information, best with the "delete file" command on a same node.

Example

  • Export system configuration data and show the path to users.
    admin:/>show file export_path file_type=configuration_data  
    File Path : /OSM/coffer_data/omm/export_import/db.dat
  • Send a notification of exporting the system Call Home data and return a message about whether the export is successful.
    admin:/>show file export_path file_type=call_home 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Send a notification of exporting the system diagnostic file and return a message about whether the export is successful.
    admin:/>show file export_path file_type=diagnostic_file 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Export the log data of a running disk, and return the controller ID and file name of the disk to the user.
    admin:/>show file export_path file_type=running_disklog disk_id=DAE010.0 
    WARNING: You are about to export the logs of the running disk. This operation will cause the storage performance to deteriorate during the collection. 
    Suggestion: Do not run this command during peak hours.

  • Send a notification of exporting the system recent cloudbackup file and return a message about whether the export is successful.
    admin:/>show file export_path file_type=cloudbackup_log

  • Send a notification of exporting the system all cloudbackup file and return a message about whether the export is successful.
    admin:/>show file export_path file_type=all_cloudbackup_log 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Send a notification of exporting the historical capacity information file and return a message about whether the export is successful.
    admin:/>show file export_path file_type=capacity_file 
    Command executed successfully.
