This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change system kernel_security_patch


The change system kernel_security_patch command is used to enable the kernel security patch function.


change system kernel_security_patch enabled=?






Whether to enable the kernel security patch function.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": enables the kernel security patch function.
  • "no": disables the kernel security patch function.

The default state is "no".

Usage Guidelines

  • The patch function enabled by this command is used to fix the Intel CPU vulnerabilities of CVE-2017-5715, and CVE-2017-5754.
  • The patch function is enabled only when "enabled=?" is "yes". After this function is enabled, performance will deteriorate.


Enable the kernel security patch function.

admin:/>change system kernel_security_patch enabled=yes
