This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change hyper_cdp_consistency_group restore

Function

The change hyper_cdp_consistency_group restore command is used to restore HyperCDP consistency groups. You can use the HyperCDP consistency groups to restore the source LUN consistency group data by running this command.

Format

change hyper_cdp_consistency_group restore cdp_consistency_group_id=? [ restore_speed=? ]

cdp_consistency_group_id=?

ID of a HyperCDP consistency group.

  • The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 99999.
  • To obtain the value, run "show hyper_cdp_consistency_group general".

restore_speed=?

Restoration speed.

The value can be:

  • "Low": indicates the low speed.
  • "Middle": indicates the medium speed.
  • "High": indicates the high speed.
  • "Highest": indicates the highest speed.

The default value is "Middle".

Usage Guidelines

  • Running this command overwrites the data of the source LUN consistency group using that of an existing HyperCDP consistency group.
  • Before running this command, ensure that the data of the selected HyperCDP consistency group is exactly the data you want to restore to a source LUN consistency group and that the source LUN consistency group has been backed up.

Example

Restore the data of a source LUN consistency group to that of HyperCDP consistency group "7" at the high restoration speed.

WARNING: You are about to restore the HyperCDP consistency group. This operation will use the data of the HyperCDP object in the HyperCDP consistency group to overwrite the data of the LUN in the LUN consistency group. This operation may cause heavy service pressure and decrease the read/write performance of the host. Before performing this operation, ensure that the LUNs in the LUN consistency group are not read or written by the host, no data is stored in the host cache, and HyperCDP objects in the HyperCDP consistency group are not written by the host. 
Suggestion: 
1. Before performing this operation, back up the LUN consistency group data.  
2. Ensure that the free capacity of the storage pool is greater than the actual capacity of the LUN in the LUN consistency group.  
3. Select the medium speed. If you select the high or highest speed, perform this operation during off-peak hours.
