Parameters

Parameter

Description

Value

export_all_data=?

Exports log files of all disks.

The value is "all".

disk_serial_number=?

Disk SN. Log files of the disk corresponding to the SN can be exported.

To obtain the value, run "show disk general disk_id=xxx".

enclosure_id=?

ID of the disk enclosure where a disk resides. If you use this parameter with parameter slot_id=?, you can export log files of a specified disk in a specified disk enclosure.

You can run the restricted command "sddebug show disk" in the diagnosis view to query the physical ID (SDID) of the disk. Then, run the restricted command "sddebug show device sdid=SDID" to query the enclosure ID (Frame ID) of the disk, The value ranges from 0 to 4294967295.

slot_id=?

ID of the slot in which a disk resides. If you use this parameter with parameter enclouser_id=?, you can export log files of a specified disk in a specified disk enclosure.

Level

Administrator

Usage Guidelines

  • Run export logfile to export log files of disks corresponding to SNs in the "diskfault.cfg" file.
  • Run export logfile export_all_data=all to export collected data of all disks.
  • Run export logfile disk_serial_number=? to export log files of a disk with a specified SN.
  • Run export logfile enclosure_id=? slot_id=? to export log files of a specified disk in a specified disk enclosure.
  • Run export logfile to export score logs of disks by default. To export full logs, run change dha policy export_score=off in the developer view.
  • Running the export logfile command may export empty files. Possible causes are:
    • When full logs are exported, no file on the device can be exported currently. (The cause is that the device has not finished log collection).
    • When the score files are exported, there is no score file. (The cause is that the device has not finished log collection or all disks on the device are SSD disks that cannot be scored). In the previous scenarios, it is normal that the exported files are empty. If the full logs need to be exported, after the device has collected logs (when the system has been running for more than 24 hours after it is powered on, or the change dha policy collect_start_time=? command is run in the developer view at a specified time to start log collection and the device has finished log collection after 5 minutes), run the export logfile command to export log files.
