This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

show ib_port count

show ib_port count


The show ib_port count command is used to calculate the number of IB ports.


show ib_port count [ parent_type=? ] [ logical_type=? ]






Parent type.

The value can be "controller", "expand_board", or "interface_module", where:

  • controller: indicates a controller.
  • expand_board: indicates an expansion board.
  • interface_module: indicates an interface module.


Logical port type.

The value can be "host", "exp", "mngt", "maintenance", "innter", "mngt_srv" , "maintenance_srv", "backup_mgr", "product_storage", "backup_storage", "eth_not_config", or "ip_scale_out", where:

  • host: indicates a host port.
  • exp: indicates an expansion port.
  • mngt: indicates a management network interface.
  • maintenance: indicates a maintenance port.
  • innter: indicates an internal port.
  • mngt_srv: indicates a port that can function as both a management port and a service port.
  • maintenance_srv: indicates a port that can function as both a maintenance port and a service port.
  • backup_mgr: indicates a backup management network interface.
  • product_storage: indicates a production storage network interface.
  • backup_storage: indicates a backup storage network interface.
  • eth_not_config: indicates a network interface for which no roles have been configured.
  • ip_scale_out: indicates a network interface for IP Scale-Out.



Usage Guidelines

Parameters "parent_type" and "logical_type" are mutually exclusive.


To calculate the number of IB ports, run the following command:

admin:/>show ib_port count 

  IB Port Number : 2
