This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change smartqos_policy enabled

Function

The change smartqos_policy enabled command is used to enable or disable a specific SmartQoS policies.

Format

change smartqos_policy enabled smartqos_policy_id=? enabled=?

Parameters

smartqos_policy_id=?

ID of a SmartQoS policy.

To obtain the value, run "show smartqos_policy general".

enabled=?

Switch for SmartQoS policies.

The value can be:

  • "yes": SmartQoS policies will be enabled.
  • "no": SmartQoS policies will be disabled.

Usage Guidelines

After creating a SmartQoS policy, you must run this command to enable the policy so that the settings associated with the policy can take effect.

Example

  • To enable SmartQoS policy "3", run the following command:
    admin:/>change smartqos_policy enabled smartqos_policy_id=3 enabled=yes 
    CAUTION: You are about to activate traffic control policy. 
    This operation may affect the performance of storage objects. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the preceding risk is acceptable and the traffic control policy is correctly configured. 
    Do you wish to continue?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.
  • To disable SmartQoS policy "0", run the following command:
    admin:/>change smartqos_policy enabled smartqos_policy_id=0 enabled=no 
    CAUTION: You are about to deactivate traffic control policy. 
    This operation may affect the performance of storage objects. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the preceding risk is acceptable and the correct traffic control policy is selected. 
    Do you wish to continue?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.
