This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

Function

The change certificate password command is used to change the password for encrypting the private key of a certificate.

  • "key_management_center": key management center.
  • "device_management": device management.
  • "domain_authentication": domain authentication.
  • "hypermetro_arbitration": HyperMetro arbitration.
  • "syslog_authentication": Syslog server authentication.
  • "remote_om_link": remote OM link.

Usage Guidelines

  • This command can be used to change the password for encrypting the private key of the certificate in a specific scenario.
  • This command provides an interactive mode for entering passwords. When you are entering a password, nothing is displayed on the screen.
  • By default, the password contains 8 to 16 case-sensitive characters.
  • The password must contain spaces and special characters, including ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ { } ] ; : ' " , < . > / ?.
  • The password must meet the following complexity requirements:
    • When the password complexity is set to normal, the password must contain at least two of the following types: lowercase characters, uppercase characters, and digits.
    • When the password complexity is set to high, the password must contain lowercase characters, uppercase characters, and digits.
  • The password cannot contain four consecutive same characters.
NOTE:

The "change safe_strategy" command can be used to change the password policy and login policy of the storage system.

Change the password for encrypting the private key of a certificate.
