Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

add host ib_initiator

Function

The add host ib_initiator command is used to add an IB initiator to a host.

Format

add host ib_initiator host_id=? ib_initiator_wwn=?

Host ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show host general" command.

ib_initiator_wwn=?

IB initiator WWN.

To obtain the value, run the "show ib_initiator general" command without parameters.

Example

To add an initiator to host "0", run the following command.

admin:/>add host ib_initiator host_id=0 ib_initiator_wwn=0000000000005678

Suggestion: Before performing this operation, check whether the initiator that you have selected belongs to the host. After you successfully add the initiator, confirm that the multipathing configuration of the initiator is correct.
