This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

delete failover_group general


The delete failover_group general command is used to delete a specified customized failover group.


delete failover_group general failover_group_id=?






ID of a failover group.

  • The value is an integer between 1 and 1024.
  • To obtain the value, run the "show failover_group general" command without parameters.



Usage Guidelines

  • Run the "show failover_group general" command to view the failover group ID.
  • Run the "delete failover_group failover_group_id=?" command to delete a specified customized failover group. Only customized failover groups are supported.


Delete a specified customized failover group.

admin:/>delete failover_group general failover_group_id=1 
DANGER: You are about to delete a failover group. This operation will prevent member ports in the failover group from floating in user-defined mode. 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that member ports in the failover group do not need to float in user-defined mode.
