This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

show ib_port general

Function

The show ib_port general command is used to check the properties of an IB port.

Format

show ib_port general [ ib_port_id=? ] [ parent_type=? ] [ controller_id=? ] [ expansion_module_id=? ] [ interface_module_id=? ] [ associate_object_type=? ] [ port_group_id=? ] [ host_id=? ]

ib_port_id=?

Port ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show ib_port general" command without parameters.

parent_type=?

Parent type.

The value can be "controller", "expand_board", or "interface_module", where:

  • controller: indicates a controller.
  • expand_board: indicates an expansion board.
  • interface_module: indicates an interface module.

controller_id=?

Controller ID.

The value is in the format of "XA", "XB", "XC" or "XD", where the "X" is an integer ranging from 0 to 3.

To obtain the value, run "show controller general".

expansion_module_id=?

Expansion module ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show expansion_module" command. The value contains 1 to 31 characters, including letters, digits, and periods (.).

interface_module_id=?

Interface module ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show interface_module" command. The value contains 1 to 31 characters, including letters, digits, and periods (.).

associate_object_type=?

Associated object type.

The value is "port_group": indicates a port group.

port_group_id=?

Port group ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show port_group general" command.

host_id=?

Host ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show host general" command.

Usage Guidelines

  • When "parent_type" is set to "controller", "controller_id" may be specified.
  • When "parent_type" is set to "expand_board", "expansion_module_id" may be specified.
  • When "parent_type" is set to "interface_module", "interface_module_id" may be specified.
  • When "associate_object_type" is set to "port_group", "port_group_id" must be specified.

You can choose only one of the following three parameters: "ib_port_id", "parent_type", and "associate_object_type".

Example

To check the properties of an IB port, run the following command.
