This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

delete lun_workload_type general


The delete lun_workload_type general command is used to delete workload type.


delete lun_workload_type general id_list=?






Indicates the workload type ID list that needs to be deleted.

To obtain the value, run "show lun_workload_type general".Multiple IDs are separated by commas (,), or ID range separated by hyphens(-), such as: 16,17-19.



Usage Guidelines

  • Running this command will delete the information about the workload type from the storage system.
  • Before running this command, ensure that the selected workload type is exactly the one you want to delete and no LUN use it.
  • A workload type cannot be deleted when any one of the following conditions is met:
    • The workload type is reserved in the system.
    • The workload type has been used for LUNs.


To delete workload type "16" and "17", run the following command.

admin:/>delete lun_workload_type general id_list=16,17 
Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y 
Delete workload type 5 successfully. 
Delete workload type 6 successfully.
