This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change nas_inter_connected_port

Function

The change nas_inter_connected_port command is used to add or remove the port whitelist for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device.

Format

change nas_inter_connected_port operation=? { ip_type=? ip_address=? }

Parameters

Value

ip_type

IP address type.

The value can be an "IPv4" or "IPv6".

ip_address

IP address.

The value must be an IPv4 or IPv6 address.

operation

Adds or removes the port whitelist for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device.

The value can be "add" or "remove", where:

  • "add": If the values of parameters "ip_type" and "ip_address" are not empty, the IP address for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device will be added. If the values of parameters "ip_type" and "ip_address" are empty, the firewall port for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device will be added.
  • "remove": If the values of parameters "ip_type" and "ip_address" are not empty, the IP address for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device will be removed.

If the values of parameters "ip_type" and "ip_address" are empty, the firewall port for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device will be removed.

Usage Guidelines

OceanStor Dorado5000 V3/Dorado6000 V3/Dorado18000 V3 storage systems support this command.

Example

  • Remove IPv4 address 192.168.0.2 for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device.
    admin:/>change nas_inter_connected_port operation=remove ip_type=IPv4 ip_address=192.168.0.2 
    WARNING: You are about to remove the IP address for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device. 
    After this operation, the Dorado NAS unit cannot manage the back-end device. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the specified IP address is correct. 
    Have you read warning message carefully?(y/n)y 
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Remove the firewall port for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device.
    admin:/>change nas_inter_connected_port operation=remove  
    WARNING: You are about to remove the firewall port for managing the communication between the Dorado NAS unit and back-end device. 
    After this operation, the Dorado NAS unit cannot manage the back-end device. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the management IP address of the NAS unit is in the port whitelist. 
    Have you read warning message carefully?(y/n)y 
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.
