This document is applicable to OceanStor Dorado3000 V3, Dorado5000 V3, Dorado6000 V3 and Dorado18000 V3. Based on the CLI provided by the DeviceManager, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change call_home general


The change call_home general command is used to set the Call Home service.


change call_home general switch=?






Whether the Call Home service is enabled.

The value can be "on" or "off", where:

  • "on": Enables the Call Home service.
  • "off": Disables the Call Home service.

Usage Guidelines

Before executing this command, confirm that the basic configurations of the Call Home service are correct.


Set the Call Home service.

admin:/>change call_home general switch=on 
CAUTION: You are about to set the Call Home service. The Call Home service can periodically send health status data of the storage array to the technical support center. The data includes fault diagnosis data, performance statistics, logs, and configurations. The Call Home service does not send any application data or personal privacy data.  
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the Call Home settings are correct.
