Confirming that the Collection Switch Is Enabled

Before monitoring performance of the system, ensure that the Collection Switch is enabled. By default, this option is enabled.


A storage system has been registered with SystemReporter.


Check the status of the Collection Switch to determine whether it is enabled.

  • If Collection Switch is in ON state, performance monitoring is enabled.
  • If Collection Switch is in OFF state, performance monitoring is disabled.


  1. On the top navigation bar of the SystemReporter user interface, click System.
  2. In the left navigation tree, choose System Configuration > Registration and Configuration.
  3. From the list of registered devices in the function pane, select the storage system that you want to monitor.
  4. Check the status of Collection Switch.

    If Collection Switch is in OFF state, set it to ON.
