Deleting a SmartMigration Task

Deleting a SmartMigration Task

This operation enables you to delete the created SmartMigration.


After a SmartMigration task is deleted, the target LUN is also deleted (actually the space of the source LUN is released).


  1. Choose Provisioning > Resource Performance Tuning > SmartMigration.
  2. Choose the SmartMigration that you want to delete, and click Delete.

    A security alert dialog box is displayed.

  3. (Optional) Choose Delete redundant LUNs.
  4. Confirm the deletion of the SmartMigration task.

    1. Carefully read the content in the dialog box. Then select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation..
    2. Click OK.

      The Execution Result dialog box is displayed indicating that the operation was successful.

    3. Click Close.
