Viewing Hardware Information

Viewing Hardware Information

This operation enables you to view details about servers, disks, and ports of the storage system.


Only super administrators, administrators, and system viewers can view system hardware information.


  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Cluster > Hardware.
  3. View the overall health information of the hardware.

    In the upper area of the function pane, view the number of healthy or faulty servers, healthy, faulty, or sub-healthy disks, and healthy, faulty, or disconnected ports.

  4. In the lower area of the function pane, view the detailed health information of the hardware.

    Figure 3-4 takes a server node displayed in the function pane as an example.

    Table 3-3 shows the specifications of each part.

    Indicates the cabinet where a server resides.


    Indicates the server name. Click to view the server details.


    Click to restart or power off the server.


    Indicates the health status of the server. Green indicates healthy and red indicates faulty.

    Click to view the server details.


    Indicates the storage IP address of the server.

    Click to view the server details.


    Indicates the number of disks on the server.


    Indicates the number of faulty disks.


    Indicates the number of ports on the server.


    Indicates the number of faulty ports.

  5. View information about specified hardware.

    1. Click Filter.

      The Filter page is displayed.

    2. Set filtering parameters.
    3. Click OK.
