Powering Off a Storage Node in DeviceManager

In DeviceManager, you can power off a single storage node.

Context

Only the super administrators and administrators can power off the storage node.

Procedure

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Cluster > Hardware.
  3. Click in the corresponding storage node information box and select Power Off.
  4. Carefully read information in the Danger dialog box and select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation.
  5. Click OK to power off the storage node.

    NOTE:

    You are advised to perform this operation during off-peak hours.

Follow-up Procedure

You can press the power button on a storage node or remotely power on the storage node on the iBMC management page.
