Restarting the Cluster in DeviceManager

Restarting the Cluster in DeviceManager

In DeviceManager, you can power off all nodes in the cluster.

Context

Only the super administrators and administrators can restart the cluster.

Prerequisites

Services in the storage system have been stopped.

Procedure

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Click in the upper right corner and choose Restart Cluster.
  3. Carefully read information in the Danger dialog box and select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation.

If you select Restart the management nodes when the service nodes fail to be restarted in the Danger dialog box that is displayed, the management nodes will be restarted even if the service nodes fail to be restarted. If you do not select this option, the management nodes will not be restarted in the scenario where the service nodes fail to be restarted.

  4. Click OK to restart the cluster.
