Remotely Powering On or Off a Storage Node On the iBMC Management Page

Perform operations on the iBMC management page to power on or off a single storage node.

  1. Log in to the iBMC management page of the storage node. For details, see Remotely Logging In to iBMC of a Storage Node.
  2. On the menu bar, choose Power. On the Power Control page, perform power-on and power-off operations as required.

You can also choose Information Overview on the home page, and then select Power On or Forced Power Off in Virtual Buttons as required. This mode is displayed on the home page after login.

    • Ensure that no service risk exists before you power off, forcibly power off, forcibly restart, forcibly power off, or power on the server. Forcibly powering off the server may damage the program or data that is not saved. Exercise caution when performing this operation based on actual operating systems. For details about the power-on and power-off operations, see the online help in the upper right corner of the iBMC management page.
    • Do not press F9 to restore the default BIOS settings or enable the NUMA function in BIOS.

  3. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes. After the operation is complete, a message is displayed, indicating that the operation is successful on the Power Control page.
