Intra-Cabinet PGND Cable

This section introduces functions, exterior, and technical specifications of an intra-cabinet PGND cable.

Function

A PGND cable is used to connect a device to the ground to protect personal and device security.

Exterior

The PGND cable has both ends equipped with OT terminals. One terminal is connected to a ground screw of a device. The other one is connected to a ground point on the mounting bar of a cabinet. Figure 14-74 shows the exterior of a PGND cable.
