EEM_103104612 The Delay for Data Synchronization Between Active and Standby Databases Reaches the Threshold

Description

Impact on the System

When an exception occurs in the active database, the standby database becomes the active database. There is much data difference between active and standby databases. Consequently, data is lost.

Possible Causes

  • A fault occurs on the network where the active or standby database server resides.
  • The active or standby database server is powered off unexpectedly.

Procedure

  1. Check whether a fault occurs on the network where the active or standby database server resides.
    • If so, contact network engineers and rectify the faulty network.
    • If not, go to 2.
  2. Contact the database administrator to maintain the database.

Clearing

The alarm must be cleared manually.
