EEM_103104607 Dumping Fails Because the Dumping Path Does Not Exist

Description

When alarm information is being dumped, the configured path does not exist on the server. As a result, alarm information fails to be dumped and this alarm is generated.

Attribute

Impact on the System

Alarm information fails to be dumped and is still stored in the EEM database. As a result, the database tablespace usage is high.

Possible Causes

The configured path does not exist on the server.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the configured path exists on the server.

    • If so, go to 4.
    • If not, go to 2.

  2. Reconfigure the path that exists on the server:

    1. Log in to the EEM.
    2. Choose System > Data overflow Dump.
    3. Configure a path.

  3. Dump alarm information again.

    • If alarm information is dumped successfully, the process is ended.
    • If alarm information fails to be dumped, go to 4.

  4. Collect alarm information and contact Huawei technical support personnel.

Clearing

The alarm needs to be cleared manually.
