DCP_103104511 The Load Balancer Fails to Be Connected

Description

When the communication between the DCP and load balancer is interrupted, this alarm is generated.

Attribute

Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type

103104511

Critical

Communication alarm

Impact on the System

The load balancer fails and a DCP cluster service exception occurs.

Possible Causes

  • The load balancer's IP address configured on the DCP is incorrect.
  • The network where the load balancer is deployed is interrupted.
  • A service exception occurs on the load balancer.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the load balancer's IP address configured on the DCP is incorrect.

    • If not, modify the configuration and restart the DCP. After the system recovers, wait for 5 minutes. The alarm is automatically cleared. If the alarm is not automatically cleared, go to 2.
    • If so, proceed to the next step.

  2. Check whether the network where the load balancer is deployed is normal.

    • If not, rectify the fault. After the network is restored, wait for 5 minutes. The alarm is automatically cleared. If the alarm is not automatically cleared, go to 3. If the network fails to be restored, go to 3.
    • If so, proceed to the next step.

  3. Check whether the load balancer service is normal.
  4. Collect alarm information and contact Huawei technical support personnel.

Clearing

When communication is restored, the system clears this alarm.

NOTE:
After the alarm is reported to the EEM, the administrator rectifies the fault on the DCP that reports the alarm. If the alarm is rectified and the DCP restarts, the DCP that runs normally does not trigger the alarm and the alarm cannot be cleared automatically. The administrator has to manually clear the alarm before logging in to the EEM.
