Impact on the System

If the power cover of the DCU is opened by an unauthorized operator, the DCU power has the security risk.

Possible Causes

  • The DCU power cover is opened.
  • The DCU hardware is faulty.


  1. Check alarm information and determine information about the DCU that generates the alarm.
    1. Start the EEM, enter the user name and password, and click Go to log in to the EEM.
    2. Choose Monitoring > Alarm > Current Alarm to access the Current Alarm page, and check the alarm list.
    3. Click next to the alarm. The EEM displays detailed information about the alarm. Check alarm information.
  2. Check whether the power cover of the DCU is opened onsite.
    • If so, manually close the power cover of the DCU.
    • If not, go to 3.
  3. Check whether the DCU hardware fails.
    • If so, replace the faulty hardware.
    • If not, collect information during the troubleshooting process and contact Huawei technical support personnel.


The system automatically clears the alarm after the fault is rectified.
