Description

The EEM performs automatic inspection on meter profiles on DCUs. This alarm is generated when the meter profiles on a DCU are not the same as those saved on the EEM.

Impact on the System

The DCU cannot access the electrical meters mounted to it Data collection and interrogation fail.

Possible Causes

  • When the EEM synchronizes the meter profiles with the DCU, the DCU fails to save the profiles.
  • When the EEM synchronizes the meter profiles with the DCU, the profile files are damaged.
  • After the EEM synchronizes the meter profiles with the DCU, command lines are used to modify the meter profiles on the DCU.

Procedure

  1. Check alarm location information and confirm the information about the electrical meter on which the alarm occurs.
    1. Start the EEM, enter the user name and password, and click Go to log in to the EEM.
    2. Choose Monitoring > Alarm > Current Alarm to access the Current Alarm page and view the alarm list.
    3. Click next to the alarm. The system displays detailed information about the alarm, such as alarm location.
  2. On the Current Alarm page, click the link under Alarm Source to access the single NE management page of the alarm source.
  3. Select Subdevice analysis from the Select function drop-down list box, access Subordinate tab page, and expand Profile Check, click Initialization to deliver meter profiles again.
  4. After the DCU initialization is complete, click Check under Check profile consistency to verify profile consistency.

    • If the verification passes, end the alarm handling.
    • If the verification fails, go to 5.

  5. Log in to the DCU and delete all meter profile information on the DCU.
  6. On the Subordinate tab page, click Initialization to deliver meter profiles again.
  7. After the DCU initialization is complete, click Check under Check profile consistency to check profile consistency.

    • If the verification passes, end the alarm handling.
    • If the verification fails, collect alarm information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.

Clearing

The system automatically clears the alarm after the fault is rectified.
