When the DCP cache fails to be updated, this alarm is generated.

Impact on the System

The data cached on the DCP and database may be inconsistent. As a result, profile query fails and a DCP service exception occurs.

Possible Causes

  • The connection between the DCP and database is terminated.
  • A database exception occurs.
  • The memory of the DCP is insufficient.

Procedure

  1. Check the connection between the DCP and database.

    • If the connection is terminated, contact the O&M personnel to restore the connection. After the connection is restored, manually update the DCP cache.
      • If the cache is updated successfully, log in to the EEM to manually clear the alarm.
      • If the cache fails to be updated, go to 2.
    • If the connection is normal, go to 2.

  2. Check whether the database service is normal.

    • If the database service is normal, go to 3.
    • If the database service is abnormal, contact the database maintenance personnel to restore the database service. After the database service is restored successfully, manually update the DCP cache.
      • If the cache is updated successfully, log in to the EEM to manually clear the alarm.
      • If the cache fails to be updated, go to 3.

  3. Check whether the memory of the DCP server is insufficient.

    • If the memory is sufficient, go to 4.
    • If the memory is insufficient, disable the idle DCP service and manually update the DCP cache.
      • If the cache is updated successfully, log in to the EEM to manually clear the alarm.
      • If the cache fails to be updated, go to 4.

  4. Collect alarm information and contact Huawei technical support personnel.

Clearing

The alarm needs to be cleared manually.
