Accessing the Touch Debugging Page

The maintenance personnel can click the setting button in the drop-down list box on the Touch to access the Touch debugging page. On this page, maintenance personnel can enable or disable the mobile data and Bluetooth functions and view notification messages.


  1. Connect the Touch to the endpoint. For details, see Setting Parameters on the Touch > Connecting the Touch to an Endpoint in the HUAWEI Box 500, Box 700, Box 900 V600R019C00 Configuration Guide.
  2. Tap Settings in the lower right corner of the Touch. The Settings screen is displayed.
  3. On the Settings screen, tap Device Info. The Device Info screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 3-3.

    Alternative, choose Advanced Settings > Touch Connection Wizard. In the displayed dialog box, tap OK. The connection wizard is displayed, as shown in Figure 3-4.

    The Touch is connected to the same network with the endpoint through a network cable or Wi-Fi hotspot. After the connection is enabled, the connection wizard page is displayed by default.

  4. On the device information or connection wizard page, click the version number for more than seven times. The three-key navigation bar is displayed in the lower part of the Touch.

    Flick down from the top to display the status bar. Then flick down again to open the menu bar and notification panel, as shown in Figure 3-5.


    Tap any blank area to hide the drop-down menu and notification panel.

    • Tap to access the Touch debugging page. You can manage wireless and wired networks, device connections, applications and notifications, display, and sound.

      Exit the Touch debugging page or tap to go back to the Touch UI. The entry to the Touch debugging page will be unavailable.

    • Tap the shortcut items on the drop-down menu to enable or disable the functions such as WLAN, Sound and Auto-rotate.
    • Tap a notification to view the content.
