Setting Facial Recognition Parameters

  1. Choose System Settings > AI Parameters and click the Face tab.
  2. Set facial recognition parameters, as described in Table 1-31.

    Table 1-31  Parameter description

    Parameter

    Description

    Setting

    Electronic name tag

Specifies whether to enable the electronic name tag function. After the function is enabled, the endpoint performs facial detection and comparison with the facial images stored on the server to identify participant information and display name tags.

The electronic name tag function conflicts with non-T.140 middle caption. When the endpoint is sending non-T.140 middle caption, electronic name tags disappear; when the endpoint stops sending the non-T.140 middle caption, the electronic name tags appear again.

    The default value is Disable.

    Facial Recognition Sign-in

Specifies whether to enable the facial recognition sign-in function. After the function is enabled, the endpoint identifies participants through facial recognition so that the participants can sign in automatically. After the conference ends, the sign-in information will be sent to the email address of the user who schedules the conference.

    The default value is Disable.

    Sign-in mode

Sets the mode of facial recognition sign-in. The options are as follows:
    • Auto: The sign-in information is displayed in full screen before the conference starts. During the conference, the number of signed-in participants is displayed in the lower left corner of the Touch. You can click the number to view the signed-in participants.
    • Background: The number of signed-in participants is displayed in the lower left corner of the Touch. You can click the number to view the signed-in participants.
    • Full-screen: The sign-in information is displayed in full screen.

This parameter is available when Facial Recognition Sign-in is set to Enable.

    The default value is Auto.

    Sign-in output

Sets the video output port in facial recognition sign-in.

This parameter is available when Facial Recognition Sign-in is set to Enable.

The default value is 1 HDMI.
