(Optional) Configuring the Mappings Between Queue Priorities in Eight-Queue Mode and Queue Priorities in Four-Queue Mode

This section describes how to configure the mappings between queue priorities in eight-queue mode (BE/AF1/AF2/AF3/AF4/EF/CS6/CS7) and queue priorities in four-queue mode (cos0/cos1/cos2/cos3). After the mappings are configured, you can configure rate limiting for four queues instead of eight queues to reduce workload.

Context

This configuration is supported only on the Admin VS.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run queue-4cos-mapping mapping-name

    A queue-4cos-mapping profile is created, and the queue-4cos-mapping profile view is displayed.

  3. Run queue serviceclass mapping { cos0 | cos1 | cos2 | cos3 }

    The mappings between queue priorities in eight-queue mode and queue priorities in four-queue mode are configured.

  4. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
