This section describes how to configure the low delay mode for port queues.


TDM services require low delay. When an MP-group interface is used to transmit TDM services, configure the low delay mode for port queues on the MP-group interface.

Perform the following steps on the router to be configured with HQoS:

By default, the low delay mode is not configured for port queues.


  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run interface Global-Mp-Group number

    The global MP-group interface view is displayed.

  3. Run port-queue low-latency-mode

    The low delay mode is configured for port queues.

  4. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
