This section describes how to configure a sub-interface queue profile and apply it to an interface.

Context

You can configure a sub-interface queue profile and apply it to an interface so that user group queues on both the user side and network side can be scheduled based on weight or shaped in one sub-interface queue or different sub-interface queues can be scheduled based on weight or shaped. Perform the following steps to configure a sub-interface queue profile and apply it to an interface:

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run sub-port-queue sub-port-queue-name

    The sub-interface queue view is displayed.

  3. Perform either of the following steps to set the traffic shaping value or the weight value for sub-interface queues:

    • (Optional) Run the shaping shaping-value [ pbs pbs-value ] outbound command to set the traffic shaping value for sub-interface queues.
    • (Optional) Run the weight weight-value outbound command to set the weight value for sub-interface queues.

  4. Run quit

    Exit from the sub-interface queue view.

  5. Run interface interface-type interface-number

    The interface view is displayed.

  6. Run sub-port-queue sub-port-queue-name outbound group group-name

    A sub-interface queue profile is applied to an interface.
