Virtual Customer Premise Equipment (vCPE) is a technology that moves legacy CPE functions to carrier devices, such as the BRAS, DHCP server, and RADIUS server, so that user-end CPEs perform only Layer 2 functions. Carrier devices perform address assignment and translation between private and public IP addresses.


Services are interrupted if the memory size of the master MPU is inconsistent with that of the slave MPU.
