Environmental Requirements for Device Storage

The environment for storing the device must comply with ETSI EN 300 019-1-1 and NEBS GR-63-CORE standards.


Table 2-1 shows the climatic requirements for device storage.

Waterproof Requirements

Keep the device indoors for proper storage.

Ensure that there is no water on the floor and no water can be leaked into the packaging box. The device must be stored far away from where a water leak may occur, such as the place where the fire facility or heating equipment is located.

If a device must be stored outdoors, ensure that the following conditions are met:

  • The packaging box is intact.
  • A shelter must be provided to protect the packaging box from the rain.
  • There is no water on the floor where the packaging box is stored, and no water can be leaking into the packaging box.
  • The sun does not directly beat on the packaging box.

Biologic Environment

  • Avoid fungi, mold, and other microorganisms.
  • Prohibit rodents such as mice.

Air Cleanliness

The equipment room must be free from explosive, conductive, magnetic, and corrosive dust.

Table 2-2 shows the requirements for the concentration of mechanically active materials.
