Configuring Transparent Transmission of Link-Layer-Protocol Packets On VPWS Networks

This section describes how to transparently transmit link-layer-protocol packets, such as LACP, LLDP, BPDU, CDP, and UDLD packets, on VPWS networks.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run interface interface-type interface-number.sub-number

    The sub-interface view of the AC interface is displayed.

  3. Run link-protocol transport { lacp | lldp | bpdu | cdp | udld }

    The AC sub-interface is configured to transparently transmit untagged Layer 2 PDUs.

  4. Run link-protocol transport tagged { lacp | lldp }

    The AC sub-interface is configured to transparently transmit tagged Layer 2 PDUs.

  5. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
