Adjusting Local Video Effects
You can set the video parameters for your site, such as the screen brightness, contrast, and saturation, to your own preferences.
Background
If the video of your site is delivered through an SD port, all the parameters described in this topic are available.
If the video of your site is delivered through an HD port, only Contrast is available.
Procedure
- Choose Video Control tab. and click the
- In the Video Input Source area, set the video source.
- In the Local Video Settings area, set the video source parameters listed in Table 6-1.

Brightness
Specifies the video output level that affects the brightness of the video displayed on a monitor.
The brightness increases with the value.
Value range: 0-100
Default value: 50
Contrast
Adjusts color levels to facilitate the distinction between two colors.
For example, if the contrast is higher, the difference between the light and dark extremes of a color is more distinct.
Value range: 0-1000
Default value: 500
Saturation
Adjusts the gray scale of each color.
The higher the saturation, the brighter a color.
Value range: 0-100
Default value: 50
Chromaticity
Adjusts the chromaticity of the local video. Chromaticity is an objective specification of the quality of a color regardless of its luminance, that is, as determined by its hue and saturation.
Value range: 0-360
Default value: 0
Follow-up Procedure
To capture the video or presentation at your site or a remote site, click Capture. To save the captured video, right-click the video, choose Save Picture As from the shortcut menu, select a storage path and format, and click Save.
