Configuring a Port Bandwidth Allocation Mode (M2K)

This section describes how to configure the bandwidth allocation mode of a port to meet bandwidth requirements.

Context

MACsec 2 x 100GE subcards support the following interface bandwidth allocation modes:
  • eth-2x100ge-mode: 2 valid interfaces, with 100GE bandwidth on each of the interfaces
  • eth-1x100ge-4x10gf-mode: 5 valid interfaces, with 100GE bandwidth on the first interface and 10GE bandwidth on each of the remaining 4 interfaces

Run the following commands to switch between the preceding port bandwidth allocation modes.

This configuration task is supported only on the Admin-VS.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run set service-mode card-bandwidth-mode bandmode-type card card-number

    A port bandwidth allocation mode is configured.

  3. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.

Checking the Configurations

Run the display service-mode card-bandwidth-mode slot slot-id card card-number command to check the port bandwidth allocation mode.
