Impact

When an IMA-group or serial sub-interface is added to an ATM-bundle interface, service forwarding on the ATM-bundle interface fails if PVC or PVP bidirectional mapping is not configured on ATM-bundle member interfaces.

Run the map pvc vpi/vci bidirectional and map pvp remote-vpi bidirectional command to configure PVC or PVP bidirectional mapping on ATM-bundle member interfaces.

When an IMA-group or serial sub-interface is added to an ATM-bundle interface, service forwarding on the ATM-bundle interface fails if PVC or PVP bidirectional mapping is not configured on ATM-bundle member interfaces.

The number of timeslots bound to the ATM serial interface to be added to an IMA group must be greater than or equal to 3.

An ATM serial interface with less than three timeslots cannot be added to an IMA group.

  • Global IMA does not support the MC-LMSP scenario.
  • Global IMA does not support the LMSP unidirectional protection mode.
