Verifying the Serial Interface Configuration

After you configure a serial interface, you can check the protocol type, link-layer protocol hold-timer, maximum transmission unit (MTU), and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) information of the interface.

Prerequisites

The serial interface has been configured.

Procedure

  • Run the display interface serial [ interface-number ] command to check the status of and statistics about the specified serial interface.

Example

Run the display interface serial command. The command output shows the status of and statistics about the specified serial interface.
