(Optional) Configuring a VLAN Range for a QinQ VLAN Tag Termination Sub-interface to Send L2VPN Loop Detection Packets

After you configure a VLAN range for a QinQ VLAN tag termination sub-interface to send L2VPN loop detection packets, the sub-interface will send L2VPN loop detection packets only to VLANs in the specified VLAN range.

Context

Perform the following steps on each PE.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run interface { ethernet | gigabitethernet | eth-trunk } interface-number.subinterface-number

The QinQ VLAN tag termination sub-interface view is displayed.

  3. Run loop-detect detection pe-vid ce-vid pe-vid ce-vid low-vid [ to high-vid ]

The VLAN range for L2VPN loop detection packet receiving is configured.

    NOTE:

The VLAN ranges for L2VPN loop detection packet receiving on the two interconnected AC interfaces must be the same, or at least overlap. Otherwise, the AC interfaces cannot be blocked.

It is recommended that you run this command to specify the VLAN range for L2VPN loop detection packet receiving after confirming the VLAN range of packets that the QinQ VLAN tag termination sub-interface can terminate.

  4. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
