(Optional) Configuring a Sub-Interface to Delete MAC Address Entries When Its L2VPN Loop Detection Status Changes

After a sub-interface is configured to delete MAC address entries when its L2VPN loop detection status changes, traffic switching is accelerated.

Context

Perform the following steps on each PE.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run interface { ethernet | gigabitethernet | eth-trunk } interface-number.subinterface-number

    The Ethernet sub-interface view is displayed.

    NOTE:

    The sub-interface must be an AC sub-interface bound to a specified VSI.

  3. Run loop-detect mac-withdraw enable

    The sub-interface is configured to delete MAC address entries when its L2VPN loop detection status changes.
