Collecting System Resource Usage

Collecting System Resource Usage

You can use the OMU to collect system resource usage about the CGP, USM, MRP, and ECS. If you have used the VTS tool to collect fault information, skip this topic.

Collecting system resource usage, including usage of module timers, message packages, and memory partitions, helps learn the running status of the system. To locate a fault, you may need to learn usage of resources of each NE and module.

  1. Log in to the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System and open the MML Command - CGP window.
  2. Run the DSP SYSRES command, where Query Type is set to HOST(HOST).
  3. You can also select the USM or MRP and run the DSP SYSRES command to query the resource usage of internal modules.
  4. Save the information displayed in the packet window.
