Collecting MML Configuration Information

You can use the OMU to collect MML configuration information about the CGP, CLoudMCU, USM, MRP, CCF, and ECS. If you have used the VTS tool to collect fault information, skip this topic.


Collecting MML configuration information helps learn the configuration of an NE and find the fault cause. MML configuration information is essential to fault location.

You can collect the MML configuration information about all NEs or a single NE. The MML configuration information of an NE can be collected based on the NE ID. Choose an appropriate method of collecting MML configuration information to suit your situation.


  1. Log in to the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System.
  2. In the MML Command - CGP window that is displayed, run EXP MML to export MML files of the required NE.

    To query the MML configuration information of NEs of a specified type, specify only ME type. To query the MML configuration information of an NE whose ID is specified, specify only ME ID.

  3. Follow the instructions provided in the following figure to download the MML configuration information.
