Collecting Conference Client Fault Information

This topic describes how to collect fault information on the conference client.

Instant Conference on eSpace Desktop

  • When the conference client can be launched, click Log collection on the conference client and obtain fault information in the opened directory, as shown in Figure 13-1.

  • When the conference client fails to start, choose Start > Run, enter %appdata%, and go to the eSpace_DeskTop\fr_exception\Local directory to obtain fault information.
NOTE:

Fault information collected includes related log files generated during client running and system information, where personal information and sensitive information is encrypted. Keep privacy data secure and handle it properly in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.

Scheduled Conference Joined Using Web

  • When the conference client can be launched, click Log collection on the conference client and obtain fault information in the opened directory.
  • When the conference client fails to start, obtain fault information in the following directory:

    Windows 7 or Windows 8: C:\ProgramData\eSpaceMeetingC00\Meeting\fr_exception\Local
