Disabling IP Call

The IP call function is disabled on the VP9600 series MCUs by default. For the communication security purposes, disable the IP call function if it is enabled.

  1. Use the PuTTY tool to log in to a VP9600 series MCU.
  2. After the <HUAWEI VP9650> prompt, enter sys conf-policy and press Enter.
  3. After the [HUAWEI VP9650–Conf-Policy] prompt, enter enable-ip-call and press Enter.
  4. Enter 0 and press Enter to disable the IP call function.
  5. Enter q and press Enter to return to the root directory.
  6. After the <HUAWEI VP9650> prompt, enter save and press Enter.

    The following information is displayed:

    are you sure to save config?(y/n)

  7. Enter y to confirm the saving.
  8. Run the display conf-policy command to check whether enable IP Call is set to disable. If yes, the IP call function is disabled.
