Controlling Access to the SC in CLI Mode

When the SSH client connects to the SC for data transmission, SSH command lines build an encrypted secure channel between the application layer and the client.
  • Your account will be locked if you enter incorrect passwords for three consecutive times. The system unlocks your account 5 minutes later.
  • If you do not perform any operation for 10 minutes after you connect to the SC using the SSH client, the system automatically logs you out.

Controlling Access to the VP9600 series MCU in CLI Mode

You can access the CLI of the VP9600 series MCU using the SSH, Telnet, or the serial port to perform operations on the VP9600 series MCU. The Telnet is an unencrypted protocol and is disabled by default. You are advised to access the MCU using the SSH. When the SSH client connects to the MCU for data transmission, SSH command lines build an encrypted secure channel between the application layer and the client.
  • Your account will be locked if you enter incorrect passwords for three consecutive times. The system unlocks your account 5 minutes later.
  • If you do not perform any operation for 30 minutes after you connect to the VP9600 series MCU using the client, the system automatically logs you out.

Controlling Access to the RSE6500 in CLI Mode

When the SSH client connects to the RSE6500 for data transmission, SSH command lines build an encrypted secure channel between the application layer and the client.
  • Your account will be locked if you enter incorrect passwords for five consecutive times. The system unlocks your account 5 minutes later.
  • If you do not perform any operation for 10 minutes after you connect to the RSE6500 using the client, the system automatically logs you out.
