Account for third-party management

Account used for verification when the third-party service management system sends a connection request to RSE6500.

  • It is recommended that you change the account and password when using the third-party service management system.
  • •To ensure account security, it is recommended that you change the connection password periodically.
  1. Log in to the RSE6500 web interface and choose System > System Settings > Basic Settings > Management Configuration.
  2. Modify the setting of Connection password (If left blank, the previous password will be used.) in the third-party connection area.
  3. Click Save.

SDK connection account

Account used for verification when the third-party system sends a connection request through the SDK interface to RSE6500.

SDK connection is supported by the RSE6500 V500R002C00 or later.

  • It is recommended that you change the user name and password when using the third-party system to connect the RSE6500 through the SDK interface.
  • It is recommended that you periodically change the account password to ensure account security.
NOTE:
The password must be specified when you connect to the RSE6500 through the SDK interface.
  1. Log in to the RSE6500 web interface and choose System > System Settings > Basic Settings > Management Configuration.
  2. Modify the setting of Connection password in the SDK connection area.
  3. Click Save.

VTS connection account

Account that is used for VTS authentication to ensure normal communication between the RSE6500 and VTS.

Only the RSE6500 V500R002C00SPC700 or later supports the VTS collection function.

To change the default password, use the SSH tool to log in to the RSE6500, run the system-view vts-config command, enter the new password as prompted, and save the setting.

Live broadcast stream FTPS account of the third-party streaming media server

Account that is authenticated by the FTPS server when the RSE6500 sends connection requests to the FTPS server to send live broadcast streams to the third-party streaming media server.

Live broadcast stream sending is supported by the RSE6500 V500R002C00 or later.

  • It is recommended that you change the user name and password when you connect the RSE6500 to the third-party streaming media server.
  • It is recommended that you periodically change the account password to ensure account security.
  1. Log in to the RSE6500 web interface and choose System > System Settings > Third-party Streaming Server Settings > Live Stream Parameter Settings.
  2. Modify the setting of Password.
  3. Click Save.
NOTE:
Set FTP server parameters if live streams need to be pushed to the Internet Information Services server.

On-demand video stream FTPS account of the third-party streaming media server

Account that is authenticated by the FTPS server when the RSE6500 sends connection requests to the FTPS server to send on-demand video streams to the third-party streaming media server.

  1. Log in to the RSE6500 web interface and choose System > System Settings > Third-party Streaming Server Settings > On-demand Stream Parameter Settings.
  2. Modify the setting of Password.
  3. Click Save.

Accounts for logging in using the serial port, SSH, or Telnet.

Super administrator. The super administrator has all the rights of the administrator, admin, and user levels and can run the shell command to log in to the operating system as the root user.

To ensure account security, you are advised to change the password immediately after RSE6500 is delivered to you.
