Checking SC Logs

It is recommended that you periodically check SC logs.


  1. Log in to the SMC2.0 web interface as the admin user.
  2. Choose Devices > Recording Servers.
  3. Click the Name to be checked and click the Log tab.
  4. Select the type of logs to be checked based on the site requirements and select Export.

    • Operation log: logs recording operations of managing the SC on the SMC2.0. Operation logs are recorded on the SMC2.0.
    • Device log: logs recording information about the SC, including the SC operation, run, security, and user logs. Device logs are recorded on the SC.

Log Suppression Policies

The system records operation, run, security, user, and call logs in the corresponding log files and stored the log files in the database. After the number of logs of a type exceeds 500,000, a new log file of that type is generated and overwrites the earliest one.
