Checking the VP9600 series MCU Logs(V600R019C00)

VP9600 series MCU logs include run,security,operation,and Debug logs.

  • Run log: logs recording system operation events such as system exception and service failures.
  • Security log: logs recording security events such as login authentication.
  • Operation log: logs recording command line operations and configuration modification.
  • Debug log: logs for troubleshooting.

Export Archived Log

  1. Log in to the VP9600 series MCU web interface.
  2. Choose Maintenance > Log.
  3. Click the Export Archived Log tab.
  4. Choose TimeandLog type,click Query.
  5. A package containing logs that are in the specified type and archived in the specified time segment is displayed. Click Download to download the package and check for the required log information.

Changing Log Level

  1. Log in to the VP9600 series MCU web interface.
  2. Choose Maintenance > Log.
  3. Click the Change Log Level tab.
  4. Set Log level

    • Set Log level based on the site requirements.
    • One hour after you set Log level, the default log level is restored to INFO.
    • When locating faults, you can change the log level to DEBUG to generate debugging information. Changing the log level when the MCU is in use does not affect the use of the MCU. If the default log level is changed, the log level restores to the default value when the system is restarted or after the setted time.
