Performance Management System Login Failure

Symptom

When you try logging in to the performance management system, one of the messages is displayed:

  • The page cannot be displayed.
  • webagt process internal error.
  • The system is initializing. Please wait.
  • The server has no response. Please check the network after the system is in the loading state for a long time.

Possible Causes

Review the following system messages to determine the cause of the fault:

  • The page cannot be displayed: The OMU is not operating properly.
  • webagt process internal error: The webagt process is not operating properly.
  • The system is initializing. Please wait: The PM process is not completely started.
  • The server has no response. Please check the network: The webagt process is abnormal. This may be because an exception occurs when the OMU processes messages for login to the performance measurement window and WebUI cannot receive responds for the messages from the OMU. As a result, the system is in the loading state for a long time.

Procedure

    Perform an operation based on the fault symptom.

    1. Log in to the PM client, and then take appropriate action based on the message displayed on the client:

      • The page cannot be displayed: Go to 2
      • webagt process internal error: Go to 3
      • The system is initializing. Please wait: Go to 4.
      • The server has no response. Please check the network: Go to 3.

    Check whether the OMU is not operating properly.

    1. In the MML Command - CGP window of the client, run DSP OMU to check whether Resource state of the resource processes of the active OMU server is Activated.

      • Yes: Go to 3.
      • No: Go to 5.

    Check whether the webagt process is operating properly.

    1. In the MML Command - CGP window of the client, run DSP OMU to check whether Resource state of the resource named webagt of the active OMU server is Activated.

      • Yes: Go to 4.
      • No: Go to 5.

    Wait for the PM process to start completely.

    1. Wait for five minutes until the PM process is started completely. Try logging in to the PM system again. Then, check whether the login was successful.

      • Yes: No further action is required.
      • No: Go to 5.

    Collect the log information, and contact technical support engineers.

    1. Use the Information Collection Tool to collect items in Common fault analysis scenario.
    2. Contact Huawei technical support engineers to rectify the fault.
